Good morning. Well your Acupuncturist is susceptible to getting sick and headaches. I have been dealing with both for about 3 days. For the illness I have been using Yin Qiao that I bought from the Acupuncturist that I work with ( Julie Roth, L.Ac.; she sells tincture herbs. ) to help with the beginning feelings of getting sick, and I have felt more energy and less phlegmy. So, next tackle was the headache. I am prone to migraines if I don't take of my shoulder and neck. I have been in a car accident in my past, so I have had to learn how to take care of my body when it is hurting. Guess that is why I have been so good at treating pain. I still love having patients telling me how much I have improved their pain with my treatments. So...for my pain, I went to the Chiro and got things back into place. Now icing it, after readjustment, taking a western Migraine pill, and placing Acupuncture tacks for the kind of headache I have. My headache is now down to maybe a '1."
So, In short, remember that if you're in pain, come see your Acupuncturist.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
